Mooli Salad Recipe | Radish Salad.

It is Maharashtrian salad dish and there it is well known as “mooli ki koshimbir“. Mainly it is prepared from grated radish, lemon juice, chillies and some other spices. Ingredients for Mooli Salad:

1 Cup Peeled and Grated Radish or Mooli.
2-3 tsp Chopped Coriander Leaves.
½ tsp Lemon Juice.
1-2 Chopped Green Chillies.
1 tsp Mustard Seeds.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
Pinch of Asafoetida.
3-4 Curry Leaves.
Salt to Taste.
2 tsp Oil.

How to Make Mooli Salad:

Step 1.

Take peeled and grated radish in a bowl and add salt, lemon juice and mix well.

Step 2.

Now heat oil in tadka pan, once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder.

Step 3.

Turn the heat off and add green chillies, curry leaves and put the tadka in radish mixture and mix well, garnish it with some coriander leaves if you like and serve chilled.

Notes
In order to get nice tempering colour to your mooli salad make sure that tadka doesn’t burn.
