Ingredients for Gujarati Masala Powder:

1 tbsp Split Bengal Gram or Chana Dal.
1 tbsp Split Black Gram or Urad Dal.
2 Inch Cinnamon Stick.
7-8 Green Cardamoms.
1 tbsp White Sesame Seeds.
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds.
1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds.
7-8 Dry Red Chillies.
2 tbsp Dry Crushed Coconut.
½ tbsp Oil.

How to Make Gujarati Masala Powder:

Step 1.

First heat a pan then fry coconut till become golden brown and keep aside.

Step 2.

Now roast sesame seeds well till get splutter then put oil in pan and roast remaining masala one by one.

Step 3.

Keep the masalas aside to cool then grind all the masalas to fine powder, store in a dry container, this masala is used in Bangalore style curries.
