250 gm of Cauliflower or Ful Gobi.
50 gm Grated Paneer.
500 gm Tomatoes.
250 gm Chopped Tomatoes.
750 gm Chopped Onion.
250 gm Finely Chopped Onion.
20 gm Poppy Seeds or Khaskhas.
20 gm Sesame Seeds.
2 chopped Green Chillies.
1 tbsp Garlic and Ginger Paste.
5 tbsp Oil.
1 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala.
2 tsp Turmeric Powder.
2 Bay Leaves.
3 tsp Red Chili Powder.
Oil for deep Frying.
Fresh Cream.
Some Fresh Coriander Leaves.
Salt to taste.
1/2 tsp of Sugar.
Step:1

Onion Boiling for Matar Paneer Recipe.

Boil Onion for Red Gravy.

  • Soak Poppy Seeds, Sesame Seeds and Tomatoes into the Hot Bubbling Water.
  • Heat half Jug of water in a pan and boil onions for 10 to 15 min with 1 tsp Turmeric Powder see photo above.
  • For at Least 20 min.
  • Make a thick paste of Sesame and Poppy Seeds by adding little water in Blender/Food Processor.
  • Remove the skin and seeds of the Tomatoes and Blend it.
  • Remove the excess water from the onions and make a puree.
  • Now mix Onion Puree, Poppy and Sesame Seeds paste all to gather.
  • Mix this very well.

Step:2

Making Indian Red Gravy

Cook Gravy for Restaurant Style Matar Paneer.

  • Heat 2 tbsp Oil in to the pan.(see photo above of Red Gravy).
  • Add 2 Bay leaves.
  • Now put the Gravy.
  • Stir it continuously.
  • After 10 min add 1 tsp Ginger/ Garlic Paste, Red Chili Powder and 1 tsp Sugar(optional).
  • cook it for further 10 min.
  • Keep it aside.

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • add finely chopped onions & Tomatoes.
  • Green Chilies.
  • add 1 tsp Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder and Salt.
  • Cook it for 10 min.
  • Keep it aside.

STEP 4.
Put 250 gm of Cauliflower or Gobi in Hot Bubbling Water for boiling, cover it and cook it for 5-7 minutes on a medium low heat, it is cooked so take it out.

Deep fry it for 20-30 seconds in a very hot Oil.

STEP 5.
Heat 2 tbsp Oil, when it get’s very hot add Tomato and Onion Curry, you can add more or less Gravy according to your need, now add 1 tsp Red Chili Powder, 1/2 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala, Salt and Fried Cauliflower and around half glass of Water.

Mix all the things very well and cook it for 2-3 minutes at medium low heat.

STEP 6.
Now add Fresh Cream and again stir it very well, cook it for further few minutes, again add little bit of Punjabi Garam Masala, Grated Paneer and some fresh Coriander Leaves.

STEP 7.
Take it out in a little Kadai and Garnish it with Fried Cauliflower, Fresh Cream and little bit of Red Chilli Powder on top of it and some fresh Coriander Leaves, so this is it Gobi or Cauliflower Paneer curry is ready to Serve.

  29. Take it out in a little Kadhai and Garnish it with Fried Cauliflower, Fresh Cream and little bit of Red Chilli Powder on top of it and some fresh Coriander Leaves, so this is it Gobi or Cauliflower Paneer curry is ready to Serve.
