Ingredients for Gatte ki Sabji:

For Gatte:

100 gm Gram Flour or Besan.
½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
½ tsp Coriander Powder.
½  tsp Red Chilli Powder.
Pinch of Asafoetida.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
Salt according to taste.
Pinch of Garam Masala.
1 tsp Oil.

For Gravy:

3 tbsp Oil.
1 tsp Cumin Seeds.
Pinch of Asafoetida.
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomato.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic and Ginger.
1 tbsp Chilli Garlic paste.
½ tsp Turmeric powder.
½ tsp Coriander Powder.
½ tsp Garam Masala.
Salt according to taste.
3-4 tbsp Curd.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.

How to Make Gatte ki Sabji:

Step 1.

For making gatte first of all put gram flour in a bowl, now add in cumin seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt and oil, mix all the ingredients well.

Step 2.

Now add in water as per required and well to make nice mixture, now make 3-4 inch rolls from gram flour.
Now heat water in pan and let it boil, now put rolls in boiling water and cook till they come on top.

Step 3.

Now take out the roll and let them cool for few minutes, now cut them in small pieces and put in bowl and keep aside, gette is ready.

Step 4.

Now heat oil in a nonstick pan, in hot oil add in cumin seeds and let them slather, now add in ginger and garlic and cook little.

Step 5.

Now add in onion and cook till onion become transparent, now add in turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and garlic chilli paste.

Step 6.

Mix all the ingredients well and cook for few minutes then add in curd and water and mix well, now add in gatte and cook it for 20-25 minutes at medium low heat.
After 20-25 minutes turn the heat off add in coriander leaves and take out in serving plate and serve with paratha, chapatti or rotla.
