Dahi saragva Sabji is a traditional gujarati curry recipe prepared from drumsticks, curd and some spices. It tastes really very awesome when served with bajre ka rotla or bhakri (Gujarati flat breads). In this easy to make drumstick curry first drumsticks are cut into equal sizes, cooked in pressure cooker for three whistles then gravy is prepared from curd and spices, after that this cooked drumsticks are added and cooked in gravy for few minutes and the delicious curry is ready to serve.

Ingredients for Dahi Saragva Sabji:

250 gm Drumsticks.
3-4 tbsp Curd.
2-3 tbsp Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilli, groundnuts, sesame seeds coarsely grinded paste.
½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
1 tsp Gram Flour.
½ tsp Chilli Garlic Paste.
½ tsp Garam Masala.
1-2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
Salt according to taste.
3 tbsp Oil.

How to Make Dahi Saragva Sabji:

Step 1.

First of all cut all the drumsticks then add in pressure cooker and cook them for 3 whistles then take out in a bowl and keep aside.

Step 2.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan, when oil gets heated add in cumin seeds, when it starts slathering add in ginger, garlic, groundnut paste and saute it till become light golden brown.

Step 3.

Now add in gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chilli garlic paste and cook it for 30 seconds then add in curd.

Step 4.

Mix all the things well then add in water and salt along with drumsticks and garam masala, now cover and cook it for 10 minutes at medium low heat.

Step 5.

After 10 minutes turn the heat off, add in coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, chapatti or bajre ka rotla and enjoy.
