This quick chickpeas cutlet are oftenly cooked in Indian households and usually served with green chutney, garlic chutney and tomato ketchup but you can also serve with any other chutney of your choice. For any parties or get together or any other special occasions making this chickpea patty is a good idea. You can make everyone happy by serving them this tempting and mouthwatering kabuli chana cutlet. Here we have used air fryer for frying cutlets but you can also deep fry in medium hot oil or shallow fry on tawa.

These cutlets are bit crispy from outside and soft from inside which makes everyone taste bud change in just no time. Ingredients for Chickpeas Cutlet:

100 gm Boiled and Mashed Chickpeas (Soaked Overnight in Water).
½ Chopped Apple.
¼ Chopped Capsicum.
½ Inch Grated Ginger.
1 tsp Lemon Juice.
2 tbsp Bread Crums.
1 ½ tbsp Oats.
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
½ tsp Salt.
¼ tsp Garam Masala.
¼ tsp Amchur.
Oil for Brushing.

How to Make Chickpeas Cutlet:

Step 1.

First of all take boiled and mashed chickpeas in a mixing bowl then add in oats, bread crums, apple, capsicum, ginger, lemon juice, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur and salt.

Step 2.

Now mix all the spices and ingredients well and also mash well with spoon, now apply little oil in hands and make small sizes of cutlet from mixture, turn the air fryer on.

Step 3.

Now put the cutlets in air fryer box, set the temperature at 200 degree celsius for 10 minutes, after 5 minutes apply little oil using brush again put in box.

Step 4.

After 10 minutes take out cutlets in a serving plate and serve with green chutney, you can also fry the cutlets in oil or stir fry on tawa but here we have used air fryer.
