Ingredients for Cabbage Kofta Curry:

Ingredients for Kofta:

1 Medium Size Cabbage.
1 Cup Gram Flour.
½ tsp Coriander Powder.
½ tsp Fennel Seeds Powder.
½ inch Chopped Ginger.
¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
Pinch of Asafoetida.
1 tsp Lemon Juice.
Oil for Frying.
Salt to Taste.

Ingredients for Gravy:

3 Tomatoes, 1 inch Ginger and 1 Green Chilli Paste.
½ tsp Coriander Powder.
½ tsp Fennel Seeds Powder.
¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
¼ tsp Garam Masala.
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder.
½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
1 Pinch Asafoetida.
Salt According to Taste.
1 tbsp oil.

How to Make Cabbage Kofta:

Step 1.

First of all grate or chop cabbage finely, put gram flour in cabbage (don’t add all the gram flour once), now add fennel seeds powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger, one pinch asafoetida and lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients very well and prepare kofta mixture, put the mixture a side.

How to Make Gravy:

Step 1.

First of all heat 1 tbsp oil, when oil gets heated add cumin seeds, when cumin seeds stated popping add turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennels seeds powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and stir them well.

Step 2.    

Now add tomatoes, ginger and green chilli paste cook it little then add salt to taste, stir it well cover and cook on a low flame.

Step 3.

Heat oil in a kadai for frying kofta, make small balls or kofta from cabbage mixture and directly put in oil for frying, fry the koftas until become light golden brown, take them out in tissue paper.

Step 4.

Now check the gravy, when tomatoes get cooked add around 2 ½ cup of water (add water according to your requirement), let the water boil for few minutes.

Step 5.

Now add kofta in gravy, cover and cook it for further 3 minutes, add water if required, when water stats boiling add garam masala, mix it well again cover it and turn the heat off.
Let the gravy cook for further few minutes on its own steam, now the delicious cabbage kofta curry is ready to serve.
